Does anyone else feel like the next version has all the answers, or is it just me?

The next release always gets me excited. I feel that the upcoming version has all the answers. Moreover, this feeling has prompted me to delay our marketing spend and product launch until the new version is ready. The next version seems to be just about right for the MVP. We all know the advise floating around.. launch, launch.. just launch. This raises the question: do you delay marketing spend and product launch because of this feeling, and if so, is it a wise decision?
