We've got some good traffic and some sales for: https://edwardbot.com/ http://schrodi.co/ It just takes time to find the right ones and to style your posts in a way that doesn't sound like you're selling something.

We've recently started trying to market on Reddit in preparation for our upcoming launch. We're still trying to figure out the landscape and the right subreddits and language to use, but we've gotten some sign-ups and visibility so far! We've also gotten banned from a couple subreddits already, however. 😅 Right now we're still in the experimentation phase when it comes to Reddit, so some good advice from others who have been in the Reddit marketing sphere for a while would honestly be appreciated.

@brianhurst I would love to know how you got the signups, and what strategy you used to collect subs.

@wesendemails We searched for various subreddits that relate directly to our industry, space, and user community, and then we just did our best to follow the rules of the subreddit while still discussing our product, what it brings to the table, and how it can change people's lives. In several places, we got some responses from people asking for the link so they could sign up as beta testers. So far, we've noticed that we have to be really thoughtful about where we're posting and the language / tone we're using to connect with people.
Laucning on 19th and decided to try almost all channels including Reddit to gain visibility! So far just found subreddits relevant to us and slowly getting into the vibe of discussions there. Let's see!!

The social network doesn’t really like advertising, but if you provide a product as a solution to a user’s problem, it can be promoted.
