Hey there! my first post here @ Product Hunt - excited to be here. Freelancers rely on their online reputation to get new and/or repeat jobs. Online reputations is usually in the form of "scores" in centralized marketplaces (Fiverr, Upwork, etc.). Have you ever wondered what would happen if these marketplaces go out of business, if they get hacked, or if they simply suspend an account? The scores would be locked and freelancers would have nothing to show to new clients ... Additionally, if people have accounts in multiple freelance marketplaces, it's more convenient for potential clients to see their overall score across platforms in a single place, without having to go one by one and do the math. OpenScore allows freelancers to take ownership of online scores by computing and storing them on the blockchain in the form of tokens. All transactions are public and verifiable, and once the tokens are minted to their wallets, they're there forever and can't be transferred. What do you think of this idea? It'll be free for everyone to use, and it's a friendly first step for users to the web3 world :) Thank you for reading! P.

Could this be used by products too? I completely get how freelancers might benefit from this, but I'm also thinking of product reviews that are on google, LinkedIn product pages, Capterra...

@sandra_idjoski yes! Amazon, ebay, etsy, etc. that's the next step. Also games (e.g. my fortnite points). Thanks for your feedback
