Has anyone tried launching a book here?

Question

I mean like an actual written fiction/non-fiction novel—I’ve seen some bedtime stories for kids and the ilk, but has anyone used PH to launch their book here?

Would that still fall under a “product” criteria? PH does have a “Books” topic, but almost nothing there is actually a book.

@levelsio @eonpilot Mine’s a historical fantasy novel—unlike anything that’s usually launched here on PH, hence my doubt. Currently publishing on Substack, but thinking about bundling it as a digital e-book. https://projectfable.substack.com/

For authors, marketing essentially involves reaching your target audience by telling more about yourself and your book. It would be helpful to be clear about your goals from the beginning because effective book marketing requires advance planning and effort. Special marketing agencies will always help you cope with self-publishing much more effectively.
