  • Have you ever bought an MVP?

The general advice is that "if you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you are already too late". I've been online for over 2 decades and never bought an MVP. I've always bought well-established products. I wish to know if people really buy MVPs. Let me know which product did you buy when it was just an MVP and what made you buy it over its competition. PS: I'd really appreciate it if you could follow me. It'd motivate me to create content that generates new perspective for all fellow founders.

Not yet, because I have not cultivated that skill of valuing someone else's work to be able to acquire it and confidently grow it. I rather prototype and scale at this stage of my career.

@aris_nakos - well, 'bought' has different meanings. Sometimes MVPs are offered as subscriptions. Have you ever subscribed to a product at MVP stage?

@thebigk I subscribed to PromptLayer back in May 2023, when they first came out. They track prompts fed into LLM. Didn't feel I was getting much for $20 a month and I dropped out.
