How did you get to your first 100 users

I am about to launch my app Flipchat where you can learn a new language by chatting with your friends https://www.producthunt.com/posts/flipchat-2/edit-teaser The marketing aspect is still new to me. The question therefore is how did you guys manage to get to your 100 first users. Would love to know!!
