In Korea, Christmas is a public holiday, so companies and schools are closed. (Although schools are already on winter vacation at this time.) People with religious beliefs often go to church, while those without religion or with different faiths also enjoy eating Christmas cake.

Hey Jay! In our country – Slovakia is the same. We have schools closed, especially 24., 25., 26. December we have public holidays. The tradition is to eat the carp for a festive dinner with potato salad and a classic – preparing a Christmas tree and gifting family and friends. :)

Here in the U.S., Christmas is a big family holiday too. Most people have off work and school from Dec 24-26. The traditions are putting up a Christmas tree, exchanging gifts with family, and having a big festive meal, often with turkey or ham. Stores and streets are decorated and there are lots of holiday parties and events leading up to Christmas Day. It's a fun and festive time of year to be with loved ones and relax.
