I love Suno & Midjourney, they help me express my creativity like never before. As for literature, I haven't discovered any interesting tools. Maybe storytelling is the last skillset that's reserved for human beings.

Hi Daniel! Great question to discuss here! I agree with John's comments, but I think it's worth mentioning here that the artists & creators whose work was used to train the AIs never gave their consent to have their IP used in this way and so are not benefiting from their commercial intellectual property rights through royalties etc. Obviously the industry is so new, this hasn't yet been established & it's complex to development IP technology in this space (eg Youtube's Content ID tech), but as a community of Makers, I think it's important everyone is aware how important IP is to artists & creators & for developers to consider how to solve this problem. Once IP rights are considered & protected, I think it's an exciting space & I've got a friend who's creating new synthesised works using AI, which I'm loving! Check out Luke Burton's work in this space: https://www.instagram.com/thelos...

It's fascinating! AI sparks creativity but raises questions about authenticity and originality.

So far what Ive seen, it always looks a bit fake, and not really original, because it's based on other work. Of course people also copy sometimes intentionally and sometimes unintentionally but I think humans can still make better, more original art.

As a designers I can speak for my fellow designers that using AI without having great taste or vision in design will always end in low quality designs. I think AI designs have a lot of potential IF proper RND is done by one using AI. Most AI designs are shit imo.

AI producing art, music, and literature is a fascinating development, as it showcases the potential for technology to augment human creativity. While some argue that it diminishes the value of human-made creations, I believe AI can serve as a tool for inspiration, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of what we define as art. It can help artists, musicians, and writers experiment with new forms and ideas, offering a fresh perspective while still preserving the human touch. Ultimately, AI-generated content might pave the way for new creative possibilities and a fusion of technology with traditional artistry. I think it’s positive that AI allows people who are not familiar with art, music, or literature to freely create works, as it enables us to encounter a variety of ideas from different individuals.

While AI can generate impressive works, the emotional depth and lived experiences that humans bring to their creations remain unique.
