How do you stay in touch with your network?

We talk a lot about networking. Particularly about connecting with other relevant people. But we often miss staying in touch with the people with whom we connected in the first place. This might sound weird or straightforward. But most of us still miss the mark here. So how you do work around it? Is there a way how you maintain the relationship with these people?
