I've been in full-on building & marketing mode for the past 2 months. I'm finding it impossible to detach myself from my projects in the evenings. Exercise, movies, reading, socialising ... they ain't cutting it these days! Anybody got a good way of detaching? TIA

Well, there are a few things that you might try actually. One option is to establish a routine or set of rituals that signal to your mind and body that it is time to unwind and relax. This could include setting aside a specific time each day to unplug from work and engage in a relaxing activity, such as reading, listening to music, or meditating. You could also try setting boundaries for yourself, such as not checking work emails or messages after a certain time, to help you disconnect from work. Engaging in regular exercise or physical activity can also be a great way to reduce stress and help you relax at the end of the day. Finally, try setting aside time each week to do something that you enjoy and find meaningful, such as spending time with family or friends, going for a walk in nature, or pursuing a hobby. Doing so can help shift your focus away from work and allow you to relax more deeply. By taking the time to prioritize relaxation and self-care, it is possible to reduce stress levels over time and create a healthier balance between work life and personal life. Good luck!

@maxprilutskiy Thanks max, all great recommendations, and they do work. I think consistency in doing them is my biggest issue right now.

Kill all the screens @8pm -> workout (optional) -> shower -> read -> bed

@8pm @philipsnyder I manage to commit to this maybe 15% of the time. When I follow through it feels great, I need to focus more on getting rid of the screens and get some physical books vs using the iPad.

@joshin_varghese Good one, that might be a good way to put a full stop to the day.
