How do you use ChatGPT vs. Google in your day-to-day life?

I turn to Google when I'm in exploration mode. When I need to dive deep into articles, research, and concepts. Google is my go-to for when I want to get the facts straight and broaden my horizons. π€
But then, there's my buddy ChatGPT! β¨ I use it whenever I need to cook up some fresh ideas, giving it my detailed instructions. It also helps me craft drafts of whatever I'm itching to write about.
What about you?

Using ChatGPT to help explain tricky stuff just like you'd explain things to a 5-year-old haha, saves a lot of time
@sandradjajic right? Sometimes when I have a complex idea, I just write it on ChatGPT and prompt it to make something out of that
I still turn to Google for most search-related queries tbh! I use ChatGPT (or more often these days, Collato) to write documents, analyze passages of text, or give me ideas π€

Great question!!
I do a similar thing as you. Google is my go-to to learn more about things and to find additional resources to dig deeper, like articles, books, podcasts, etc.
ChatGPT helps me overcome the barrier of "white page paralysis" and is also a great brainstorming buddy. It never does the full job for me, but it helps me to get started.
I also like how they work in tandem. ChatGPT can inspire me with new insights and Google can help me dig deeper and double-check that ChatGPT isn't just dreaming up things π
