How important is page open speed ?

If you are a maker, do you pay attention to the time it takes your website pages/mobile app screens to load ?

If you are a user, how important is the speed at which the sites/apps you use opens ?

As a user, page loading speed is 100% important to me. If a page takes more than 5 seconds to load and isn't essential, I typically try to close the website

Page speed is part of technical SEO and now its very important because search engines consider on page speed also  to rank your website. So personally i consider first on this, if going to analyze any website.

@rupal_saini thanks for sharing! You know are very patient, most users drop off at 2s.

Funny info, did you know that below 200ms your brain considers the speed to be "immediate" and between 200ms and 1s you "feel" something is brewing but don't have time to really assess how "long" its taking.

How important is page open speed ?
