How important is SEO in early days?

SEO in long term is super important. No questions. But should markers focus on SEO at the early stages of the product? Is there enough ROI — considering time is a very limited resource at the start.

I think SEO is important in the early stages for the following reasons.
- SEO takes time. The sooner you start is better.
- SEO is free or relatively cheap. Vital if you are just starting.
And it should be taking too much of your time.

It depends what you're building. SEO is important if you're building a blog or a community where the success of the product depends on getting as many eyeballs on it as possible without much user differentiation.
But if you have a product that has a specific customer in mind, then it might be more important to do targeted advertising rather than general SEO.
The most important aspect is to optimize your site with SEO (shouldn't take more than a few hours or even minutes if done with AI) and decide to spend more time with link building if you're business depends on general user engagement.
Yes. SEO is very important in early days.

SEO is crucial in the early days of a website as it helps establish a strong online presence and drives traffic to the site. By optimizing for relevant keywords, creating high-quality content, and building backlinks, you can improve your website's visibility and attract potential customers. I am also doing SEO on my friend's website (https://www.manchesterairporttax...) to improve its search engine rankings.
