Every successful social media manager that you see doing well has this one thing.
A memorable brand!
And when you're a personal brand or business, that is the thing that will position you as a leader in your industry.
A personal brand is a living, breathing thing – as you change and grow, your brand will too.
Here's the formula for your PERSONAL BRAND:
STORY
INTERESTS
PERSONALITY
SERVICES
Sounds simple, but if you're just starting out, you might feel a little overwhelmed!
Here are some questions to help get the ball rolling:
STORY:
❓ What's your story?
❓ What's your background?
❓ How did you get started?
❓ WHY did you get started?
❓What was your defining moment?
❓ What motivates you and why?
❓ Is there anything unique and memorable about your experience?
❓ Is there anything that a lot of people could relate to?
❓ Is there anything that your ideal client would identify with and say "That's me!"?
INTERESTS:
❓ What do you like?
❓ What are your hobbies?
❓ What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
❓ What do ou spend a lot of time doing?
❓ What tools are you obsessed with that you use for your brand?
❓ Whar are our personal values?
❓ How can you tie those into your brand values?
❓ Are there values you have specific to your brand?
❓ How do these values affect your audience?
PERSONALITY
❓ How would your loved ones describe your personality?
❓ What type of people are YOU drawn to?
❓ What do you love most about yourself?
❓ How do you want to make your audience feel?
❓ Do you know your MBTI andúor enneagram type? (These help give you more in-depth insights into how your brain works + what your personality is like from the outside.)
SERVICES
❓ What's our service/offer?
❓ Why does your audience benefit from what it is that you offer?
❓ What pain points is your offer solving?
❓ Who is that your offer + brand should be attracting?
You may not figure it out all in one go, but it's helpful to be self reflective and not be afraid to dig deep!

Great post @busmark_w_nika, Adding to all the points you mentioned, I feel cracking the AIDA (Attention-Interest-Desire-Action) rule is important. It may not matter if the rule is used for personal branding or corporate since both of it at the end will require some kind action to be conduct. For personal account it could be hiting the follow button but for company account it will clicking on some link. what do you think?

Hey @busmark_w_nika , for the brand page on Twitter, LinkedIn or any other social media platform, should we only post related to our brand or brand + different content ?
Thanks for sharing the helpful tips.
This all are great questions, i really like the story questions. It helps to feel connected.
I particularly like your STORY question @busmark_w_nika. I'm still learning but have been surprised by how many people are interested in the why I do what I do part and key learning moments along the way. Thanks, very useful content.
