How to win vs. BIG competition
As a startup, competing vs. bigger, more established companies is a challenge. Curious on how you have won deals vs. competition, or if you have suggestions for the community.
Here's my suggestions:
1/ Embrace being small: having direct contact with CEO, CTO and development team is a huge advantage as customers will be treated like VIP
2/ Own your story: by owning your founding story, you will attract customers who want to be on the journey with you.
3/ Be realistic: if you can't satisfy a customers needs b/c you don't have the resources, let them go. They will end up sucking up your precioius time and resources.
4/ Be prepared: know that you will run into these conversations. Build a competitive battle card for each of your main competitors.
