In my second PH launch I was able to 5x my upvotes as compared to my previous product. Here are some takeaways I feel that helped 1. Landing page was optimised to welcome PH community members, with a special banner, a message and a promo code 2. I was hunted by a friend who is more active than me on the PH community 3. I used a GIF logo, A Video, And better media 4. My tag was more catchy Ps: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (NEW LAUNCH) https://www.producthunt.com/post... (Other product Godial)

Hahah, first PH launch: 29 upvotes. Second one: 770 upvotes and #2 product of the day. We wrote about it and all of the learnings here: https://medium.com/angle-audio/p... Some of the learnings include: - Working with a hunter that also offers some coaching & tips - Investing in great visuals - Planning an outreach campaign throughout the full 24h - Launch 1 minute past midnight to get the full 24h - No PR language, just clear, descriptive and honest text copy - Cool offer for PH community - Getting the whole team on board for launch day

@sarahxjo Ooof, pretty big improvement... What are you going to in your third launch..?

@nik_hazell We did a big pivot in August (from B2C to B2B) with Angle Audio and will launch our new solution around end of November. We will try to be as prepared as last time and will focus a bit more on keeping the momentum going over the 24h that we get. So instead of emailing/messaging everyone right when we post it – trying to spread it our over the day (not just one peak). I'm not sure how it will go with a B2B product. I somehow suspect interest will be a bit lower.. But who knows.

@sarahxjo Interesting - I suspect you're right that B2B will be a little slower, but will watch with interest!

I didn't stress about the submission process... The first time, I opened and closed the submission form like 30 times, before I finally felt ready to commit. The second time I just knew, what was needed and how the submission works. It was easy ;-) Maybe not a huge insight, but sometimes it's the small things that can make life hard ;-)

@danischenker I agree, the small things definitely make life harder. And second time's the charm perhaps because we don't have tp sweat out the details anymore.
