I have a product concept that would include crowd sourcing of some sort. Hypothetically, how would I be able to pay the "crowd", similar to how upwork can pay all their different freelancers? Is there a service for this? Or would I have to organize something through my bank?

I think it depends on what those people are. If they'r'e just random people that you work with or do business with, and requires you send payment one-time only or just a few times, I'll recommend using Wise (formerly Transferwise). Some considerations: they can be in the same country as you or in different countries. Wise still works fine. If they're like contractors or employees, that you have to be paying regularly, and they're in different countries, I'll recommend you use Deel or Remote. That way, you're able to handle some other stuffs automatically, such as compliance documents and taxes. A great review of remote here: https://worqstrap.com/remote-com... One for Wise: https://worqstrap.com/wise-trans... And Deel https://worqstrap.com/deel-as-a-...

Considering the need to distribute payments efficiently to a large group of people, I would employ a reliable digital payment platform that supports bulk payments and automation, like PayPal or Stripe, ensuring it provides security, ease of use, and fast transactions for both the sender and recipients, while also being mindful of possible transaction fees

I think Deel does a great job and is very flexible and easy to use. It very useful for making global payments without so many limitations like PayPal.
