Why is it gated behind a signup? Just curious

@philipsnyder Because I need to have contacts on users to inform them about new addition on the website and new features. Without it, you have website where it will be difficult to grow a traffic.

Cool resource! I think being forced to sign up will put off a lot of people though. From how its set up, it looks like what is essentially a social media site for entrepreneurs.
Most social media sites will allow you to browse without signing up, but will force you to do it after you've consumed some content without signing up.
I would suggest letting them access to all images and text content, but after they watch a couple of videos, they won't be able to play any more videos before signing up.
This way you'll have users warm up to you before forcing them to sign, which can increase signup rates.
Really hope it grows, but I think the sign up gate right from the get go might hamper its growth and thus hamper your email list.
