I'm an experienced marketer with a passion for startups and innovation. I switched from B2C and Consumer Product companies to AI SaaS and B2B marketing a year ago, and I love it!
I've developed marketing strategies for multiple projects in different fields across all continents! I worked with paid ads, PR, SEO, email marketing, product development, and more.
Feel free to ask me anything about your marketing, or feedback if you also want to make the switch from B2C to B2B, and I'll try to give you some tips!

Awesome, what would you recommend a dev tool startup, especially in terms of SEO backlinking and email marketing?

@marilena_n thanks! Are there any specific email marketing hacks, that helped you a lot in B2B SaaS?

@vdelitz to be honest, what has helped me most is doing lots of A/B testing: trying different email subjects, different hours, different CTAs, and figuring out what works best. Also try to split your target email list per region so that you ensure they receive the emails at an appropriate time, while working and not at night. I have found that 9 am or 12 pm works best. And personalize a lot!
@vdelitz great question, Vincent!
for the record, @ronak_ganatra1 wrote an in-depth blog post on email marketing to developers, followed by an insightful thread on HN.
key takeaways
- - keep it short;
- - experiment with plain text;
- - keep it human;
- - skip the sales;
- - use it sparingly.

What was your approach with PR?

@olaf_iowa while working in B2C I mainly did PR events and reaching out to journalists and influencers for partnerships. In B2B we participate in expos and events, and we also share press releases with key websites in the tech industry
