Is a divide forming between tech companies and more corporate environments when it comes to AI?

In tech companies it seems as though everyone is using AI daily in some shape or form. But from speaking to friends who work in industries like banking or government, their work lives don't seem to have been as impacted by the launch of GPT. That gap seems to only be growing as time passes.
Do you see that in your circles too?

It seems that banking and government, often viewed as traditional industries, are slower to embrace technological shifts. While tech companies readily integrate AI into their operations, these sectors still rely on outdated systems like spreadsheets or older operating systems like Windows 7. This resistance to change might hinder their adaptation to new technologies like GPT, widening the gap between tech-forward and more conservative sectors.

@mekyal_amiri agreed! I also think there is more red tape in traditional industries. I've heard of access to GPT being blocked and even to download a new app to your work laptop would require admin approval etc.
