Is it similar to be a start-up founder and running an ultra-distance marathon?

I like running as long distances as I can. At the same time I am a co-founder in a start-up. I really believe that the ups and downs you experience while you are building your company are really similar to the ones you have when running ultra-marathons.
And at the same time, the learning you get from running such a long distances are very useful for the daily life of a start-up.
What do you think? Do you also believe it or I am just completely wrong?

It's a mix of sprint + marathon. You sprint at the beginning, then marathon for a few weeks, then sprint again for a new release. repeat.
