    You should start doing marketing as soon as possible. Marketing isn't about ads or actively promoting your product. You can write about your category. For example, I have a big audience on LinkedIn (mostly marketers, cybersecurity, and founders). I don't have my own SaaS startup right now. But if I have, it will be 100% easier (if they're my target audience).

    Typically, marketing occurs both before and after the product debut. Pre-launch marketing builds excitement and interest, but post-launch marketing maintains momentum and drives continued sales.

    I judge it by whether the product is likely to change significantly. I think the marketing will change once we find the target after the release.

    @metasomai If we find a large target audience after releasing a product that is not what we expected, we may improve the product for them. In that case, I think our marketing will change.
    You should start the marketing as soon as you decide the product you are planning to build.

    For us it was meant to be before the launch of our app, myReach. Launch day of myReach on PH wasn't meant to be today. But for some reason the launch went live today, so we've had to make the most of it with no build-up marketing for the launch. Would love any support you can give us on our launch! Thanks

    Lots of business owners just have some vague ideas about how they're gonna sell their product first. It's only after a few month from launching the product that they realize that the hard part is still ahead of them!! Effective marketing strategy starts long before the product is launched and remains as an ongoing operation with constant supervision and continuous struggle for improvement.
