As a startup advisor we usually see Weds as best.
Weds = best usually - not as competitive but also enough time before the weekend so people are fully engaged.
I recently asked similar questions and here's what I've learnt:
- If you launch on Wednesday or Thursday, you'll get a high traffic to your website but it's difficult to rank on these days as the compitition is high.
- Launch of weekends if your motive is to rank your product.

I don't know But I also want to answer this question because I am also planning to launch my first product on PH.
