Hello community, I launched my product today and I am wondering where I went wrong. I was on PH for a few months seeing how it works, checking out daily launches etc and I thought I had it figured and was ready. But I must have gone very wrong somewhere along the process. Advise and support from the community would be appreciated. What am I missing?

I'm not sure. Product Hunt often shadow bans me to where I can't even post or reply to comments so check that everything is okay with your account.

Launching a product is like baking a cake; sometimes you need a pinch of user feedback, a dash of marketing strategy, and a whole lot of patience. Let's sprinkle some stardust on your next launch!

can you provide more details? What do you mean by it went wrong? What was your goal?

@arthur_leclercq it's as if I never launched. No comments, no questions, no upvotes. It's really strange.

@arthur_leclercq my goal was to get some light on my mobile app. To get people to know about it, to give me feed back on things to improve on my next app update, to get people to download and list their rental properties. But I have got nothing. At all.

@malaika_daude I guess it happens to many people, thing is that if you're product is not featured, it gets way less visibility than others... Let me test your mobile app, i'll give you my feedback (not what you expected but still better than none)

Hey Malaika, did you by any chance have users supporting your launch? Having a group of supporters upvote your product will help give it more visibility during the launch. I’d love to check out your product and give some feedback!

@mussaleh no, I didn't because I wanted it to be organic and real. In my opinion, it doesn't help to get hundreds of upvotes if people are just up voting for the sake of up voting. I wanted constructive votes; people who would vote, download and use my platform.

@malaika_daude completely agree, but I believe that’s the reason you weren’t as visible as expected. The supporters are to be people that believe in your product. Mainly you get their help to get you the upvotes so that you get the visibility you need to introduce your product to others. Overall homeVR is a great product. You can always launch again once you get some updates. I’ll be sure to be one of your supporters. Good luck!
