First, "The India Way: How India's Top Business Leaders are Revolutionizing Management" by Peter Cappelli, Harbir Singh, Jitendra Singh, and Michael Useem. This book is a great resource for understanding how Indian business leaders approach management and how it differs from the Western approach. Another great book is "India Unleashed: The 21st Century's Ascent" by N. Chandra and R. Bhagat. This book is a comprehensive guide to the Indian market and offers insights into the country's economic, political, and social landscape. Lastly, "Marketing to the Indian Consumer: How to Build a Winning Brand in India" by J.V. Narendra and Sanjay Dholakia. This book is a great resource for understanding the Indian consumer and what it takes to build a successful brand in this market. In addition to these books, I also recommend checking out the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) website. They provide valuable resources and insights on the Indian market and industry trends. I hope these suggestions will be helpful to you in understanding the Indian market for B2C products. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me on LinkedIn. I'd be more than happy to help.

While we all think of India as a billion-large population, much of the heavy lifting on consumption is by a slim class of consumers, about 10-12% of the population, though still sizeable at ~100m. https://docsend.com/view/w8vd4u6...

"India: The Emerging Giant" by Arvind Panagariya: With a special emphasis on the economic changes of the last few decades, this book offers a thorough review of the Indian economy and its growth trajectory. Trade, investments, labour markets, as well as the agricultural and industrial sectors, are just a few of the many themes it covers.
