Resources to get started with Notion

Dear Community, I have a database that I need to maintain which is currently scattered as an endless list of Google Docs and Google sheets. I have the logic in terms of how the repository would look and just a simple Google sheet might not cut it as a particular doc or sheet might go under multiple headings. Based on a couple of google searches and conversations I've read here - Notion seems to be the way to go. But I have hit a dead end in terms of just starting. There are too many Youtube tutorials, templates, and some such. And it is getting overwhelming. Any pointers or help in terms of how to get started will be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance! :)
