Hi, I'm struggling with the SEO of my website. Do you have any recommendations for good tools to optimize SEO?

I’ve been told Ahrefs and semrush are two popular ones. Would love someone to respond with any tools that’s free or low cost to get started. Bootstrapping until I have revenue.

Certainly! Some popular SEO tools are: 1. Google Search Console: Monitor your site's performance, submit sitemaps, and identify issues. 2. Google Analytics: Understand user behavior, traffic sources, and more. 3. Yoast SEO (for WordPress): Helps optimize content for search engines. 4. SEMrush: Offers insights on competitors, keyword research, and backlink analysis. 5. Ahrefs: Useful for backlink analysis, keyword research, and site audits. Use a combination of these tools based on your specific needs and goals.

SEO is a two-headed beast. The good news is that you have total control over on-site SEO. You can connect your site to Google Search Console and start from there. Broken links, missing headers, missing descriptions... All can be easily solved. The next thing is keyword optimization, which again, GSC can help you with. Once you've polished your site it is time for off-site optimization, aka link building. That is a project on its own.

Mangools suite has life-time free plan to try and explore various tools, helping with keywords, SERP analysis and backlinks. Also, paid subscriptions are pretty affordable (in compare to Ahrefs or Semrush)

SEO can be a real puzzle, no doubt. I remember when my buddy was pulling his hair out over his website's SEO. We tried all sorts of tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs, which helped a bunch with keyword research and optimization tips. But he also found this amazing agency https://www.upwork.com/services/product/marketing-hotel-seo-expert-audit-1750812817200898048 , who really knew their stuff. They not only fine-tuned the keywords but also helped with site structure and content strategy.
