Technical Due Diligence when acquiring SaaS app

Hi There- Wanted to see if this community had any recommendations on a company that could help with technical due diligence from an acquisition?
Long story short but me and 2 partners are looking to buy a few small SaaS apps and use our marketing/sales skills to grow them. Unfortunately, we don't have coding backgrounds.
We'd be open to hiring a company or an individual to help us with the technical due diligence.
Any recommendations/suggestions?

I'd definitely have a reputable third-party do a thorough audit of the codebase before acquiring any SaaS app. Gotta make sure there aren't hidden technical issues or security vulnerabilities that could bite you later. And having a CTO or technical co-founder on the team is crucial for properly evaluating and optimizing a SaaS product post-acquisition. Don't skimp on the technical due diligence!

There are companies that offer code audit services. You can try one of those. Check their reviews and testimonials to make sure it's a reputable company, and not one that will return a half-baked audit as a way to sell you their dev services to "fix the problems."
The other option is to find someone with a coding background and get them involved with your team, either fractionally or full time. It seems like it would be hard to buy and optimize SaaS products without a CTO or similar.
