I saw the product road map on a website and really like that. What are you thinking about that?

We have an open product roadmap on our Flowlu website. I believe in transparency - It shows your customers that you are open about your plans and progress. Plus, you can engage your customers and make them feel involved in the development process.

@max_kamyshev good points. I also think it is really important that the customers feel like they are part of the development. I often noticing that customers or partners really like it, when you show them information of your products future.

We just released on PH (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) a few weeks ago but we have an interactive roadmap that creates a unique session with us to allow users to submit private suggestions on items we are considering or committed too.
We originally had a Trello board but created additional work and costs since you have to pay to share a view only board with others. We say F that and built in house since our tool fits the bill regarding the interactivity and without creating additional documentation overhead.
Feel free to check it out:

That's awesome to hear you enjoyed the product road map! It's like providing a GPS for your product's journey—minus the voice saying, "Turn left at the next feature update." Upside: no traffic jams!
@thestarkster Nice, I really like that sentence and it's definitely like a GPS for a product's journey.

I think having a roadmap publicly available for your customers on the website is really a trust-building thing. They get to know you’re really invested in this, that there’ll be updates coming up across the year. It shows commitment.
