Whaen does one know on when to shutdown a product

While many saas products get traction others don't. What are the metrics that indicate it might be time to shutdown a product and move on.

I'd say customer feedback is the best criteria. Because even if a few users are liking the product then it means you can improve and make it big. Basically there's hope. But if users have feedback like it's not solving the problem entirely or efficiently then I'd say that's the time to think!
