What do you do to keep your work and life balanced?

As someone who struggles with balancing work and life, I find it helpful to set clear boundaries between the two.
I make sure to set specific times for work and also for personal time, and try my best not to let them overlap.
I also prioritize self-care activities and make sure to schedule them into my calendar just like I would with work tasks.
It's also important to learn to say no and not take on more work than you can handle.
What about you? What do you do to keep your work and life balanced?

Stick to a somewhat rigid schedule of breaks and shifts mainly, making sure I take regular interval breaks throughout the day and finishing to spend time with family at a reasonable time.

@aaronoleary how long are your shifts on average?
I agree!
What works for me is to plan out my day with things I want to get done, but that includes things like my morning routine, workout and even social or fun activities. Similar to your calendar, but I do it as more of a checklist, so I can be more flexible regarding times.
It is much more likely I will do it if its all written down.
make sure to set specific times for work and also for personal time
Launching soon!
Stick to a fixed healthy little flexible routine and keep a flexible schedule and make tasks as small as possible prioritize bass on the importance. Continuously learn and improve scheduling.
In my opinion, set clear boundaries between your work and personal life. Define specific working hours and designate time for leisure, hobbies, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Honestly, the hardest part for me is the work/life/side project balance. I can do okay sectioning work hours and life hours, but squeezing in the time to work on passion projects is tough (and usually means I stay up too late at night🙃)
Make sure to schedule time for yourself and your loved ones in your calendar, just like you would with work appointments.

I myself struggle with this regularly. I'm either all in on something or not at all... leading often to burnout. Having set daily boundaries hasn't worked for me since I keep thinking about how to solve problems and I really can't disconnect until I find a path forward.
A middle ground has been work-life harmony... where I'm able to hackathon the hell out of a feature in a handful of days but then I basically take an extra day off in the middle of the week.
I'm finding answers here inspiring. Hopefully, I can do better.
Just making sure to take frequent breaks and not to push myself too hard.
It ends up allowing me to do more work in the long run
Knowing that balance is an illusion and based on that prioritizing.
Take time first for what matters most and the rest comes after.
I try to maintain a healthy balance between my work and personal life.
I make sure to prioritize self-care activities like exercise, meditation, or spending time with loved ones. Additionally, I take breaks throughout the day to stretch, walk around, or engage in other physical activity that helps me relax and clear my mind.
I tackle the challenge the other way around:
Life-work balanced.
The key here is to sit down and be honest with yourself, take a piece of paper and a pen to do one simple task:
Write down a list of inflexible rules you won't bypass for anything work-related.
Honestly, this is so fulfilling @ezgiyeginaltay, you get to live and stay true to yourself.
The knowledge that balance is an illusion and prioritizing in light of that knowledge. Don't let the rest distract you from what matters most. https://www.realstyle1.com/
