A great co-founding team.

That's all I believe in, if the founder work well together and believe they could make something work, they will find a way.

1. Great marketing strategies
2. Low competition level (Either the idea is unique or there aren't many strong competitors)
3. Great branding
4. Great services, features, etc.

Also as a side note, the startup idea should be such that customers be willing to pay for its services, features, or itself.
