What do you think of the .so TLD?

I'm are looking for a domain for my new project. As you all know domain searching is frustrating and super crowded. It's not just about the .com but also .io, .co, .ai etc. Recently I have seen many startups with .so (Not just Notion but also Amie, Morgen etc.) and it's scary because it's from Somalia, but seems that is not penalizing a lot Notion. Maybe because it's a company not reliant on SEO?? Are you limiting yourself a lot in terms of not being able to do SEO by picking it? I know there was a discussion like this before but since things change a lot in the space... Whats the latest?? Thanks PH!
