I read one hypothesis: by 2040, logistics companies will absorb many manufacturers of basic goods and end-of-life value chain links: reuse, recycling and regeneration, making their impact on the consumer goods market essential. It sounds real.

Technology hasn't impacted logistics that much, and improvement is absolutely sluggish. Sure the communication related to logistics has improved but transporting something from point A to point B has not, which for me is the true essence of logistics. Take ordering from Alibaba as an example. It takes days or weeks to receive them, just like years ago. So, it's really not a huge improvement for me.

I also think that in 10 years, the logistics market will be transformed by advanced tech, like AI and IoT, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. However, challenges in logistics management such as data security, integration of new technologies, and managing global supply chain disruptions will remain critical concerns that need addressing for a seamless transition. Of course, it all is possible to solve but I doubt 10 years are enough.

I think in 10 years people will have fewer logistics issues because almost everything will be controlled and implemented with the help of AI.
