What makes you vote a product?

The visual must be pretty or elegant.

- Innovativeness - Someone I know - Value to me

- Idea: if something meets a long-existing need, I'll vote - Simplicity: it's good to see easy fixes to painful problems - Presentation (a cool video, screenshots, etc.). - Attitude of the founding team in the comments

Interesting discussion! I usually upvote a product that is useful or from people that I know and follow here:) But it often happens that I see something interesting, informative, entertaining, or innovative, and I just can't pass by without supporting the talented creators! Also, it happens once in a while that I see how a marketing team puts in great effort to promote their product, and creates genuinely clever, funny, and relatable discussions instead of just spamming threads or creating basic posts, and I'm always checking out their product to learn more!

Almost every time I decide on the product from the main PH page - from its name and short description. If it has value to me, seems innovative, and has really good visuals - good to go!
