@olive_haus It is good, but what are the other things you did? Because social media is just only one aspect.

@busmark_w_nika I’ve personally developed marketing landing pages to funnel leads and coordinated giveaways.
They generated leads, but I couldn’t say how valuable those leads were, as the sales didn’t quite match up with how much was invested.
It’s hard to say, but so far - honestly - Twitter has been significantly more valuable as a marketing tool than anything else I’ve done.

@olive_haus What was the business (or field you were engaged)? Are giveaways a good motivation? Because it is a good stimulus, but are people motivated to stick to your personality/brand after they don't win the price?

I never really tried a marketing strategy in my line of work, but I have a small bit of my experience to share. When I was sort of into content marketing, SEO is all that I was depending on. I paid a price though, for not considering other potential media like social, ads, and mailing lists.
I have plans to rebuild the stale content again and try all of these possibilities in the future. My main line of work is Web development, and my content revolves around the same.
How was it for you, Nika? How would you answer the question?
