Music provides a motivating backdrop to our actions, influencing physical and mental endurance. Many people believe Ambient and natural tunes are great for productivity, and light pop music can put you in a motivating mood. What kind of music motivates you?

https://youtu.be/yydZbVoCbn0 This is my go to 1 hour long theme music from the movie Social Network(2015). Works wonders to help me focus on coding or take some key decisions.
I listen to instrumentals when I need to focus and be productive. Lyrics distract me and I always end up singing along!

For me its Hip-Hop. This genre of music is really motivational, you goy hear stories from rapper around the world and sometimes you can even relate to their stories.
@gurpinder_singh @gurpinder_singh Yup, some stories are so relatable, and it seems it has been written for you.

@arunpariyar Lofi might be the best music to listen while working, no words, just beats and chill atmosphere to boost focus.

@arunpariyar I respect your choice and taste but for me, it is my bedtime music. Soothing and relaxing to give comfort to the mind before going to sleep. By the way, how do you attach a youTube video or picture to the comment? 🙄 I am just curious to get to know this.
@saif_ullah_khalid Just copy the link of the YT video that you want to embed and paste into the comment. It's that simple🙂.
@arunpariyar @luka_vasic I agree with you both Lofi music is a blessing.

for productivity, I would choose something without lyrics. Some Jazz maybe so there is less distraction. For motivation, I prefer Hip Hop, EDM, or Rock music

I prefer different music. Depending on the situation and mood. It can be either something heavy from Metallica, or more calm, for example, Enio Morricone's composition for the film "Professional".
@new_user_11620223ff4de5436 Yes, that is actually what it is. Different types of music for different moods and feelings.

I'm a complete outlier as I get distracted by any music
@joanne_hurleyv1 How do you focus on the work, and what about dizziness during work?

Well it all depends on what I’m doing or how I’m feeling. But my favorites are classical and jazz. I find that they're very relaxing and enjoyable to listen to. Listening to music helps me stay productive and focused throughout the day.

To me, music is a way to express myself. As a musician I can guarantee that music will setup your mood to achieve your tasks with high motivation. Sad tunes can sometime motivate to the point where you own the problem. Music is a roller coaster of feelings because us humans are filled with countless emotions as we go through different moods everyday.

@muhammad_effandi I never thought sad tunes could motivate me hence I always tried to avoid them before I try to be productive. Now i'm curious... I might just try it out. :D
