My latest Product Hunt launch CTO Toolkit (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/cto-toolkit) flopped. :( I did these 3 things:
- Timed it at the start of the PT day
- Uploaded a lot of high res photos + video
- Regular stay engaged with the community via discussions...
But alas, they didn't work (in my case).
I'd like to hear from you 3 tips to a successful Product Hunt launch.

It is funny to answer this question on my behalf because I am neither a successful maker nor a hunter. But anyways I have a view on the topic. These are my 3 bullets;
1. Build a nice product that solves a real problem.
2. Make it free and easily accessible. If you can't make it free create a huge discount for traffic coming from PH.
3. Put a badge on your website saying that you are listed on PH and try to pull lots of traffic on your website. That may create an organic flow to your PH page.
P.S.: Any marketing effort on your product before launching PH pays off. And kudos to Pablo's first bullet!

- Timed it at the start of the PT day is defenetly important.
- Having the help of a hunter can be a good plus. This where to find one: https://upvote-bell.com/leaderboard
- Sending an email to your current users asking for support can also have a big impact.
- Make sure to get an upcoming page and get subscribers there. The initial boost of upvotes helps you stay visible.
- I think the images/videos you have should be simple and to the point. Should be obvious what your product does (I say this because I think there is maybe a bit too much text in your images and video)
- Staying engaged is definetly one you should keep. People will interact and give more feedback if they see that you’re engaging with your audience.
Hope this helps a bit :)
