What's the best way to get started building web 3.0 products?

My experience is from a a web2 company that wanted to expand into web3. If this is something that you're aiming to do, then make sure that your current customer base will get on board with your project. This is super important as web3 is something that many people have very strong negative feelings against and sometimes you might lose more than you gain from such a move/transition.
