What's this content creation method called?

There’s gotta be a (better) name for this. The way I’ve approached my own content lately is starting with a small post (text post, usually). If, after the text post, there’s still enough energy behind the idea to merit an image or video, I’ll start attacking that. Feels like accretive development (software) or going from seed to tree… “Fire bullets then cannonballs” from Jim Collins comes to mind too. I've informally been calling it "accretive content creation" Anyone know a correct term for this? Is there one?
