Here's my favorite AI-powered apps in 2024 ChatGPT An all-in-one AI assistant for writing, brainstorming, coding, and pretty much everything else. It's like having a supercharged collaborator 24/7. Document360 Perfect for creating and managing AI-powered knowledge bases. The AI features make it super easy to search, suggest content, and even generate FAQs for documentation. Notion AI A brilliant productivity tool that integrates AI for summarizing, idea generation, and automating your notes and tasks. It’s like a personal organizer with brains. MidJourney For anyone in design or creative fields, this AI image generator makes visual content creation effortless and inspiring. GrammarlyGO More than a grammar checker, its AI tools help with tone adjustments, rewrites, and creating full emails or documents from a few prompts. Descript An AI-powered video and audio editor that makes editing as simple as editing text. It’s a lifesaver for content creators and podcasters.

@pradeepa_somasundaram wow! Thanks for amazing sharing! Didn’t know document 360, I would definitely try it. Does grammarlyGO is a paid plan product? It’s really a pain point for me to communicate with people in English on the internet. I’ll try it, too. What kind of content you make by using Descript? I’ll also considering it.

Chat GPT and Claude. Claude AI creates the best texts, but for other tasks, I prefer Chat GPT.

@dzts Thanks for sharing, Dzmitry! I’m curious—why do you feel Claude excels at creating texts? In my experience, Claude is fantastic for writing code, but when tasks involve a bit of creative imagination, ChatGPT tends to perform better. Could you share some specific scenarios where you prefer Claude over ChatGPT, and vice versa? Also, as someone who heavily relies on conversation-based AI, do you ever find it mentally draining to keep interacting with AI all the time? I’d love to hear your thoughts on that aspect of the experience!

@timliao Hi, Tim! I just tried both ChatGPT and Claude for the same tasks, like writing blog posts. I like the info Chat gives more (depth, structure), but for readability, I personally preferre Claude. It might just be my personal feeling, though, which is hard to measure. I also used them for optimizing HTML for blog posts, and I liked the HTML Chat creates better. You're right, sometimes chatting with AI is annoying. You give it a task, it gives you a wrong answer, you explain what to fix, it says it understands, and then just gives the same nonsense. But hey, it’s a machine, what can you do?

@dzts Hi Dzmitry! It’s really interesting that you use Claude to output HTML for your blog. I’ve just added a blog section to my landing page as well! On one hand, it’s a way to showcase product stories, and on the other, it’s great for optimizing SEO. I’m curious—how do you use Claude for this? Is it for creating layouts, improving readability, or something else? I’d love to hear more and see if it’s something I can try out too! Also, I completely agree with you about interacting with AI. I’ve often wished I could just talk to it instead of typing, but then I worry that speaking might add too much unnecessary input and affect the output quality. Also, that’s one of the reasons we’re building Minduck—to avoid repetitive back-and-forths and instead use mind maps to guide AI, making the process more efficient. We’re actually launching this Monday, and I’d love to invite you and your friends or team to check it out! It’d be amazing to hear what you think.

@timliao For HTML optimization, I use Chat, not Claude. It gives cleaner code. I just write a simple prompt like, "Optimize the HTML for a blog post, check the facts, and make changes if needed".

I've been using https://www.scenario.com/ to generate assets for my anti-anxiety app and honestly it's been game changing for creating compelling illustrations!

@muhammadib Thank you so much for recommending this app! I hadn’t realized there’s an AI tool specifically focused on creating virtual worlds and scenes—it’s fascinating! It also seems like it could integrate with some 3D software or traditional scene creation tools, which is a huge plus. I’ve been dreaming of creating a virtual pet that can “live” on a computer, and this pet would definitely need a highly customizable living space. Scenario seems like it could be a perfect fit for exploring this idea—definitely excited to try it out! By the way, how has your experience been with using Scenario to build scenes so far? I’d love to know how effective it’s been for your projects—I’m really eager to dive into it and explore the scene creation features myself!

@timliao no worries :)! Yes definitely sounds like the right fit for your use case. My experience is very good, but it does take a lot of tries to get the perfect asset for me, so it's been quite time consuming to use. But much cheaper than hiring an illustrator!

@activatedhuman what’s the difference between This Blue AI And other ai chat-based model app. I read all the content on the web , ttry the interactive touchpoint on my phone, and still don’t know how to use it, unless need to subscribe it first. But the life couch idea make me feel curious what blue is, feel like Javis.

@timliao Hi Tim, great questions. Activated Human is designed to structure your daily conversations into actionable intelligence, creating daily rhythms to align with your routines, personalized action items and keeping accountability via proactive messaging of reminders. This is a refreshing approach to human-AI collaboration: each user interfaces with "Blue," their dedicated AI companion, which maintains strict one-to-one confidentiality while providing continuous support across multiple life dimensions. Blue truly gets to know about the various spheres of someones life: personal, professional, social and big picture / higher self and produces action items and valuable insights in real time. Think of this as a trusted friend or life coach / therapist who has your best interests and mind and giving you a powerful competitive edge. As we ramp up for our launch, we will be sharing videos and demonstrations of the product and its benefits. We are quite excited to share more :) All the best with your product, Minduck, as well!
