Have you read the book 'Hyperfocus' - by Chris Bailey? This book is about productivity. And it's really helpful for me nowadays. Especially, the technique of setting an alarm to remind me of what I'm doing every 30 minutes is particularly useful. It forces me to consider whether or not the task at hand is actually productive.
