What type of AI agent do you use more?

The assumptions in the AI agent are simply divided into two categories:
1. Only by wrapping a prompt, so that each conversation can call this prompt to complete the business needs. Such as translation, summarization, etc.
2. By importing a variety of data sources, docking multiple OpenAPIs in order to call more capabilities, and orchestrating business processes to achieve business needs. For example, AI customer service, AI clothes changing, etc.

Which of these two types of AI agent will you use more? What are the main scenarios?

I tell you, I mostly employ creative AI tools, anything that facilitates text editing, graphic enhancement, or idea generation. They have greatly increased output without becoming overbearing.

I’d definitely go with the second type of AI agent. Here’s why: while the prompt-based approach is handy for quick tasks like translations or summaries, it’s a bit limited when it comes to handling more complex needs. An AI that can tap into multiple data sources and connect with APIs just makes more sense—it offers greater flexibility.

For example, as an AI career coach or business coach, it’s crucial to provide personalized advice based on things like job trends, user history, and third-party tools. This deeper data integration helps deliver more meaningful and tailored guidance, making it easier for users to make smarter decisions in real-world scenarios.

So, while prompt-based AI is useful, the second type aligns better with tasks that need in-depth analysis, thoughtful decision-making, and more dynamic interactions.

I mainly use ChatGPT/GPT-4 and Midjourney for ideation, outlining, and initial drafts. They speed things up a ton, especially for tedious tasks like summarizing research. And Midjourney is great for quickly generating visuals and graphics to enhance the content. I'll then refine it all myself to keep the final product in my own style and voice.
