My guess: - Some B2C products, if you expect the biggest part of the upvoted to be from your existing users, which may have more time on the weekend - Products that are not expected to reach the top of the list on weekdays (more competition) may achieve this on the weekend, which may give a popularity boost

@konrad_sx I see it the same way. Because when you have their B2B products and you are aiming for B2B – I think that most people from that sector (from big companies try to have something from the weekend/time off rather than think about corporate things). People, who are there solely for fun, will try to find something for their amusement or personal needs. So my guess is B2C is doing better during the weekend.

Not quite sure if there's a specific niche of products but I do think it tends to lean towards smaller brands that require a "[1-5] Product of the Day" badge for confidence building. I'm hoping to launch littlebro.app in October during the week to get more eyes on it. At the end of the day, I feel like it's about the strategy of what you use the launch for.

I've seen a few patterns: 1) B2C products tend to get more visibility from their existing user base on weekends when people have more free time. 2) Some niche or lower-profile products can reach the top of the list more easily on weekends when there's less competition from big weekday launches. Getting that top spot, even just for the weekend, can provide a nice boost. 3) Products related to hobbies, entertainment, or casual use may resonate more with the weekend audience mindset vs. work-related tools.

Good question! I've found that B2C products tend to perform better on weekends, especially if a big portion of upvotes will come from existing users. Many people have more free time to browse PH and upvote their favorite products on weekends. Also, products that might struggle to hit the top of the list on busy weekdays can often reach the top more easily on weekends due to less competition. That extra visibility boost from being high on the list, even just on a weekend day, can provide a nice bump in traction and popularity. Curious to hear others' experiences with weekend vs weekday launches!

B2C products that have mass appeal like productivity tools, games, or consumer apps probably get more engagement on weekends when people have more free time to check them out. Niche B2B or developer-focused products might still be better off on weekdays when their target audience is thinking about work. Makes sense that launching on a weekend could help boost something that may not hit #1 otherwise. I'm curious to hear actual data or experiences with this from makers who have tried both!

I think B2C products targeting existing users could do well on weekends since those users have more free time to check out PH then. And smaller products might hit #1 easier on weekends with less competition from big weekday launches, which could give them a nice boost. Just my 2 cents!
