What was the lowest point in your journey of building the product?

Mine was in December 2023, when:
- I had been struggling to find a new CTO for a few months after the previous CTO decided to move to a different industry.
- We had just canceled a $100K investment deal and moved from Silicon Valley back to our home country, Moldova, to bootstrap the company.
- My co-founder faced serious health challenges, and morale was very low.
We recovered by March 2024—we found the best CTO ever, secured another investor with smart money, and pivoted to a more scalable business model.
What a time!

Launching soon!
What a journey Elena!
Many people exaggerate and romanticize being an entrepreneur, but the truth is exactly what you’re describing—that there are many tough moments. It’s crucial to stay mentally stable while also looking for the fastest and best solutions for yourself, for the company, and for how to move forward in general.
So, I definitely believe it requires exceptional qualities, and it’s not good to romanticize it the way many people do on social media.
Congrats and I wish you a lot of success!

Totally been there. My lowest point was pulling all-nighters trying to fix a critical bug right before launch while my co-founder was in the hospital. Scary times. But you gotta embrace the struggle and just keep pushing through. Entrepreneurship is a rollercoaster but it's so worth it in the end. Keep going Elena, you got this! 💪
Oh yes, those low points are inevitable on the entrepreneurial journey. Mental resilience is key to pushing through the tough times. Personally, I found that taking care of my physical health with regular exercise and good sleep was crucial for maintaining a positive mindset. Also, celebrating small wins and milestones, even when things were really hard, helped me stay motivated. Wishing you strength and success as you continue building!
Those lowest points are definitely humbling but crucial experiences for any founder. Staying mentally strong and focusing on solutions over setbacks is key. It's not always the glamorous journey social media makes it out to be, but persevering through those tough times is what separates the successful entrepreneurs. Keep pushing forward and best of luck as you continue to grow the business!
What an inspiring journey, @elena_opreag
It’s incredible how resilience and determination can turn even the toughest situations into stepping stones for growth. Kudos to you and your team for pushing through and coming out stronger.
For me, the journey is just beginning. After 9 years in a core technical hiring leadership role, I made a big leap and joined Mindtide, a Silicon Valley-based company where innovation thrives. We’re working on multiple ideas and have a couple of exciting products in development. Every day brings something new to learn and experience...it’s both challenging and exhilarating!
Your story is a great reminder to stay persistent and trust the process. Here’s to many more milestones for both of us :)
