We see the term maker a lot on Product Hunt and elsewhere. I am curious to hear if folks agree that all makers are entrepreneurs and vice a versa. Why the term and what is the distinction?

I think an indie maker is focused on creating and selling their own products, often online, and often with a strong sense of creative control, while an entrepreneur is focused on creating and scaling a business, often with a team and with strong business acumen.

    Essentially the same I feel.

Indiehackers are a form of entrepreneur. Mostly bootstrapped though.
