When do you launch your product on Product Hunt?

Question

I am creating a software and I wanted to know at what steps of development/creation are you guys starting to publish your product on Product Hunt?

Here are the following steps identified:
- conception, the idea is here but nothing is really working yet
- right after you have created the Proof of Concept
- after releasing the whole product
- other ... ?

If you could add some tips next to the steps, that would be sweet :)
