When to launch on Product Hunt

We launched on Tuesday and ranked as the #1 product of the day. It's a competitive day, but from a short research I did, Wed and Thu are more competitive. The only thing is that launching on Tuesday "harmed" our weekly rank (#4 product of the week). The PH algorithm also includes the day you launched (in addition to upvotes, comments, etc). For example, we ended up having more upvotes and comments from the product that finished as the #3 product of the week, but since we launched sooner, the PH algorithm ranked us lower. There's no right or wrong way to go, after reading a lot about it we realized that you should go with intuition. Good luck!
