so that if you have a customer support to the website, you will wait for months before an actual ticket is submitted especially when they already got your money. hahaha

Wrong answers:

1. To keep their interns/content team busy 
2. To publish the "legally required" info they don't want anyone to find before buying their products/services 
3. To redirect the customers at the time of need or emergency. Good luck finding the direct number of their service center in your city. It either doesn't exist or you're better off googling.

Because they are looking for the least well known online platform to post their content to, they consider the Geminispace, then they say "nah, the web is even more obscure", and so they create a website instead of a Geminispace capsule. (Wondering what the Geminispace is? I don't blame you :)

Serious answers:   As far as I can determine: To advertise / promote and demonstrate the companies' products and services.  To provide the customer with easy to use systems for communication, information, monetary exchange and product procurement.
