Starting and running a start-up can be an incredibly exciting experience, but also extremely stressful. It is a journey full of ups and downs, just like a rollercoaster ride. One day you might celebrate a great success, the next day you might face an obstacle that seems insurmountable. In the middle of all this, keeping your spirits high can be a real challenge. It is easy to get overwhelmed by stress and pressure, but it is crucial to remain positive and motivated in order to overcome difficulties. So, I would like to open a discussion: how do you keep your mood high during difficult times? What strategies do you use to stay positive and motivated? Maybe you have a daily routine that helps you relax, or maybe you have a particular way of coping with stress. Or maybe you have a motto or mantra that helps you stay focused on your goals. I look forward to hearing your ideas and advice. It could be very helpful for everyone who is in the middle of this adventure. Let's share our experiences to help each other stay on the rollercoaster!

I love this question! For me, morning walks and workouts are SUPER helpful. The other thing is finding a great co-founder! Most early startups fail because of team-related issues, some purely relational. Finding someone you gel well with and who's an encouragement makes all the difference. Finally, celebrate the small wins!

Couldn't agree more, Nicola! 🎢 Start-up life really does feel like a rollercoaster ride. When things get tough, I try to remember why I started in the first place. Reconnecting with my 'why' helps me regain perspective and remember that this is a journey, not a race. Also, taking breaks is crucial. It sounds counterintuitive, especially when there's so much to do, but stepping back helps me recharge and come back with fresh ideas. And lastly, celebrating small wins. It's easy to get lost in the grand vision and forget to acknowledge small victories along the way.

    Launching soon!
Then enjoy every moment of the ride. 😉 Jokes apart, I find talking to a specific person (with whom I can share almost everything) pretty helpful.

Great question, and an important thing to keep in mind! At ANIIRO, we're 3 people. Very new start up, but being 3 people instead of just 1 helps immensely. We get to do so much more than just one person could do by themselves. Another thing to keep in mind is that it's important to not burn out. I keep catching myself working way too late wanting to finish something, then I have to make myself log off and continue my work in the morning. While starting up a new business is time consuming and you should prepare for that, you should get at least 1-3 hours of "free" time every single day without fail. Most people might need more than my own minimum. Lastly I've found that keeping any hobbies not related to work is very important to rewind and relax. Doing things that is enjoyable but isn't work or staring at a screen has helped me keep my energy levels high.

We hear you! In the case of our team, which is small, we try to enjoy the little things and support each other. We praise each other and communicate often, even if we are on different continents.

I try to run 3 times a week, and it has been very helpful!
